Terri Ares

Background

Dr. Ares’ clinical background has included community health (occupational and home care) and acute care (neonatal intensive care and mother-baby) nursing. She has served in leadership roles as supervisor, discharge coordinator and manager and as a perinatal clinical nurse specialist (CNS) in a semi-rural community hospital.  Dr. Ares is an alumna of the CSUDH School of Nursing and returned in 2007 to join the faculty full-time.  

Research Interests

Issues relating to nursing education are the focus of Dr. Ares’ scholarly inquiry.
